Da’Ron is a decorated Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran. He is a former Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserves. Currently he is a Poughkeepsie Educator and Administrator. He is an active community member who volunteers in different capacities to support the growth of the city of Poughkeepsie.
The Platform
I’ve been an educator in Poughkeepsie for over two decades. I know that every need a child brings to the classroom is a need brought from home.
As Chair of the City Council, I want to focus on supporting the needs of the whole household.

As a combat veteran of the United States Armed Services, I know what it takes to keep our community safe, and as an educator, I know firsthand what works in preparing the next generation of young people to meet the world ahead.
